Zetland Gold Cup Winners!

It was wonderful to see Liberty Coach enhance his strong course record to win the Zetland Gold Cup at Redcar on Monday (by a whisker!) Ridden by Jason Hart for owners H Hurst & R Sankey.

He’s a very likeable horse and there were a lot of people trying to buy him last year, so we’re delighted the owners kept him. It’s horses like him we’re trying to hold on to. He had a very good year last year and found his mojo at the back end. We felt he’d come on from last time at Chester, and he loves galloping tracks like Redcar.

He will have three weeks before he runs again, and bigger targets may await.
