Puella Law Sheds Maiden Tag

Puella Law  had run well on all five starts prior to getting her head in front at Beverley late in the month. Sent off a very short favourite she showed plenty of heart to win by ¾ of a length after coming off an unsuitably slow pace.

This maiden win was all important as Puella Law will make a nice broodmare prospect at the end of her racing days being  a half sister to multiple Group winner Brave Emperor. For now though there is more fun to be had with her on the track and she should be suited by stepping up to a mile in more strongly run handicaps.
