Dark Bay Colt by Soldier’s Call
Dark Bay Colt by Soldier’s Call

Our lowest priced yearling purchase was this colt by Soldier’s Call from a family that we know well. He is a half brother to our useful sprinter Master Of My Fate and cost 12,500 EUR at the Goffs Ireland Autumn Sale. He looks sharp and racy – a real two year old type for next year.
He is the second foal out of a No Nay Never mare called The Works. Recently in The Racing Post Martin Stevens highlighted the merits of No Nay Never as a broodmare sire saying ‘No Nay Never, who retired to stud in the same year as Australia, has done sneakily well as a broodmare sire too, with a high strike-rate of winners to runners.’ We are confident that this colt will add to the tally.
His low sales price means that he is eligible for all the auction races due to be run in the UK in 2026 and he will be receiving an entry for the Weatherbys Super Sprint in the early part of the year.
