Twilight Romance digs deep

Twilight Romance displayed a gutsy performance to make all and win the “Chris Garwood Retirement Party Handicap” over 6f at Doncaster on Saturday evening. Under a usual tactical ride from PJ McDonald, he stacked the field up at 2f out, but saved enough in the tank to kick again in the final furlong and win gamely, following up his Leicester win 3 weeks ago.

It’s wonderful to see him back up his last performance, long may the good form continue.
