Dusty’s Choice Impresses On Debut

 In Latest News

Dusty’s Choice, the first horse we have taken care of on behalf of Paul and Clare Rooney won at the first time of asking in what looked a warm bumper at Ayr on Monday afternoon. He is a horse that we have always liked and had hoped that he could be up to winning a bumper based on his homework.

A sedate pace in the first three quarters of the race meant that when the field turned for home they were well bunched. Dusty’s Choice always travelled well though. Sean Bowen asked him to go about his business a furlong from home and he knuckled down well to battle against the eventual second. With fifty yards to go Dusty’s Choice quickened clear to win by a length and three quarters at the line.

I will discuss with the horse’s owners what our next move will be but I hope that Dusty’s Choice can make in to a nice novice hurdler down the line.
