Grazeon Roy On The Up
One horse that has really blossomed over the past few months is Grazeon Roy. He is a lightly raced three year old who is still improving. Following an agonising defeat at Doncaster last week (where he and the winner finished thirteen lengths clear of the remainder) we decided to run him again quickly at Southwell on Tuesday where he was effectively a winner without a penalty.
Grazeon Roy was sent off a warm order to go one better than last week and he did so in emphatic fashion, winning by six lengths under Paul Mulrennan in the end.
I may look to go again on the flat with the horse under a penalty next week. Alternatively we might school him up over hurdles as I feel that he is just the sort of horse to make a smart juvenile hurdler this winter.
