Bal Mal Bandwagon Rolls On

 In Latest News

Bal Mal is a young sprinter that has really hit his straps of late. Since our last update on the horse when he won at Beverley he has added a further two wins to his CV. Three wins in a week for any horse is not too shabby!
The first win came at Redcar on Saturday when he won under a 6lb penalty. In a small field he dominated his rivals from an early stage and was able to run out cosy winner by four lengths. Over the following two days we kept the horse sweet and monitored his wellbeing very closely. He was thriving and so we decided to roll the dice with him again at Musselburgh on Tuesday. Here Bal Mal was carrying a 12lb penalty but was still able to win. He sat behind the leader on this occasion and was asked for his effort coming inside the last furlong. This time he won by ¾ of a length.
We have raced Bal Mal hard in recent weeks and he has taken his racing well. I may sit back and give the horse a small bit of breathing space before we go again with him. Hopefully he can keep on improving.
