2018 chestnut colt by Tamayuz (GB) ex My Love Thomas (Ire) (Cadeaux Genereux (GB))

If you’re looking for speed and high-class speed at that then look no further than this colt. By the very fast miler Tamayuz this horse hails from an excellent sprinting family. His dam, My Love Thomas, was a decent winning two-year-old herself. However, her mother Flanders was an excellent sprinting two-year-old, winning the Hilary Needler and Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot at the turn of the millennium. My Love Thomas’s siblings were smart types and the best of them is a horse called G-Force who won the Sprint Cup at Haydock Park in recent years. And what was G-Force by…?? That’s right…Tamayuz.

This colt is a half brother to four winners who were all very capable. The best of them is Double Up who was a listed class sprinter at his best. He is eligible for the Plus10 Bonus scheme and at 30,000 Guineas looks good value in the current market. He appeals as the sort of horse to make a good sprinting two-year-old but also one to go on for seasons to come.

Purchase price: 30,000 Guineas (plus 5% agent fee)
